Dealing with kid’s rude comments and hurtful words
  Dear Diana,         I recently heard that my 31⁄2-year-old said to his grandma, “You’re old and fat!” To him, all adults are “old,” but she is also substantially overweight. How do I explain to him that even though these things may be “true,” it’s rude and mean to call someone fat?
