Very often a problem child or a troubled teen is going to present challenges as regards where he is going and who he is hanging out with. The question about whether we know exactly where our kids are and who they are with and even more important what they are doing is of crucial importance. There is a fine balance between trust and still keeping an eye. You would be surprised to know how many parents cannot answer the questions I have posed above. But your bottom line is that your kid is accountable for all his actions and that there will be consequences if they overstep the mark.
