Can You Really Trust Your Babysitter? Posted By : Regina Jacques
November 29th, 2008I was speaking with a friend last night that said her and her husband nearly became adoptive parents. They had been asked to be adoptees of a baby boy if nobody declared him. November is in truth, National Adoption Awareness Month. National Adoption Day is a collaborative national effort to raise awareness of the 129,000 kids in foster care waiting to find assiduous, adoring families. It’s heart breaking to think of another human being not having the nurturing of a loving mom and dad. To not feel cherished and cared for, or to have lost their parents at a juvenile age.
I never knew my grandparents on my mom’s side because my mom was born in Berlin, Germany. She lost her parents in the war when she was only 10 years of age. Herself and her brother had to live with their Grandfather, also their aunt that was really mean to them. My mother eventually ran away from them and moved in with a girlfriend and her family. There are many other children right now that have had a rude wakening to this life.
My husband and I always said the same thing. If we were ever going to have a kid, we would definitely adopt. We don’t want to be accountable to deliver another human being into this afflictive world, and there definitely are plenty that are born without anyone to care for them. We would assuredly make somebody else’s life the best that we could make it being as how they are already alive and kicking.
I don’t care if it isn’t my own flesh and blood because as much as we adore our pets as if they were human, we would absolutely love and care for a child as if it was our own. For goodness sake, we can’t even go away without wondering about them. I can only imagine needing to have a babysitter take care of our child! After the horror stories I heard and saw on news episodes, I probably wouldn’t be likely to focus at work. Some children get slapped, others recurrently molested. These are things that are the unimaginable, but an unfortunate fact.
If you personally have kids you love and care for deeply, a nanny cam may be a life saving essential. There are several hidden cameras that can be utilized. The most common is the teddy bear hidden camera.
Be vigilant and safe!
Yours in Safety,
Regina Jacques
